The Player: Obama to Collect $400,000 Speaking Fee from Top Wall St Firm

From Truth Revolt, by Michael Horn

Hey there, big spender!

Barely 100 days since he left office and former President Obama has been living the life of a sultan, after kite surfing with billionaire Richard Branson, partying it up on David Geffen’s $300 million yacht, and now collecting a hefty $400,000 for speaking to a high-class Wall Street firm.

The speaking event will take place at Cantor Fitzgerald’s healthcare conference this upcoming September.

According to Fox Business, Obama’s fee falls squarely in line with Hillary Clinton’s price.

“What sources are telling FOX Business Network is that former President Obama, now less than 100 days out of office, has agreed to a speaking engagement during Cantor Fitzgerald’s healthcare conference in September,” FBN’s Gasparino said. “We understand that he is going to be the keynote speaker for the lunch, and he’s going to receive a fee of $400,000. We should point out that that’s in line with what Hilary Clinton got… we should point out that Cantor will neither confirm or deny.”

ZeroHedge reports that the former community organizer has spent most of his 100 days “relaxing at various locations around the globe and planning for his foundation’s library and community center in Chicago.”

Famed publisher Penguin Random House has also slated the former President for a record-breaking book deal of $60 million, roughly $45 million more than the price offered to former President Bill Clinton.
